Education is the first step to recovery from drug or alcohol abuse. CAASTLC’s Drug/Alcohol classes focus on legal aspects of chemical usage, disease concepts of alcohol and drug abuse, stress management, and the physiological & psychological consequences of drug and/or alcohol use.

Services are free of charge to income eligible residents and on a sliding scale for others.

Women’s Anger Management Educational Classes

CAASTLC provides an eight-session anger management program specifically designed for women which is held every Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. This program provides personal insight into aggressive behavior and implement effective methods of addressing and managing anger. A certificate is issued upon completion.
